Rave of the Day: Freshbooks

Short and sweet here.

My rave of the day? Freshbooks. (Found out about them because they sponsored BarCampRDU… which I didn’t get to go to, but am certainly trying to next time! Stupid busy schedule of mine.)

FreshBooks Manifesto

Our mission is to deliver fast and simple invoicing and time tracking services that help you manage your business. We call these Unaccounting™ services.

I’m trying out their online service to see if it’ll be a good fit for Raleighwood. I can’t say enough good things about their “rockstar service” and personal service! I was typing too fast during registration and included an extra “o” in Raleighwood… making for an awkward subdomain. They fixed it with one email… and even cheered me on!

I also receive a phone call today to follow-up on my registration and see how I was liking it and if I had any questions.

There are a few things I will pay for that I could do myself. It’s almost ALWAYS paired with fantastic customer service. As an iContact.com Agency (meaning Raleighwood Media Group + Raleighwood Event Group exclusively utilizes iContact.com for our client email communications), our account manager, Kate, is also a rockstar… joining Freshbooks, on the “totally worth it” list.

Hey Lisa, this is so nice — thanks! Glad to hear you're diggin' FreshBooks so far and you got a call from our team. I'm sure you know what to do if you have any questions : )

Oh! Do you know our friends at Shoeboxed? They're in your corner of the world and they are the best!

Hope all's well with Raleighwooooood! Heh.

  2. Hey Rayanne,

So cool that you found my post! Google Alerts, maybe? 😉

I think I read about Shoeboxed, or something like it, in Inc. How cool to see that they are just down I-40 in Durham. I will have to give them another look. Receipts are a huge pet peeve of mine, but as always, a necessary evil. I'm looking forward to the day when we can checkout anywhere in the world and hear "Would you like your receipt emailed to you". That would be awesome. If I knew how to make it possible, I'm sure I could retire today!

    Have a good one,
    Lisa
